3D printing for Marketing & Entertainment

3D printing service for marketing, events, and entertainment — props, displays, and installations at any scale.

Marketing activations, trade shows, film sets, and brand installations need physical pieces that look flawless and arrive on time. We produce oversized props, trade show displays, brand installations, and custom set pieces — from desktop trinkets to nearly two-meter display models — with surfaces finished for camera and close-up inspection.

Challenges we solve

How our 3D printing service supports marketing & entertainment teams

Oversized, show-ready pieces at event scale

Trade show booths, retail displays, and brand activations often require physical pieces at 2–10x product scale. Our Industrial SLA platform produces single pieces up to ~1000mm with presentation-quality surfaces, and our FGF platform handles pieces up to ~1200mm per axis. For anything larger, we engineer multi-part assemblies with seamless joints and invisible seam lines — delivered as a single assembled and finished piece.

Camera-ready surface quality under studio lighting

Props and display pieces need to look flawless under direct lighting — every surface imperfection is visible on camera or at arm's length in a trade show booth. SLA and Industrial SLA deliver 2–5 Ra μm surface finishes straight off the printer. Our post-processing includes progressive sanding, priming, and multi-coat painting to achieve surfaces indistinguishable from injection-molded or fabricated originals.

Compressed timelines with immovable deadlines

Event dates, shoot dates, and launch dates do not move. We have delivered camera-ready giant keyboards for commercial shoots, brand installations with 100+ Nespresso bee sculptures, and a custom Labubu mask for BLACKPINK Lisa's Deadline Tour — all on compressed timelines. Our production floor processes 5,000+ parts per week, giving us the capacity to prioritize urgent event orders without displacing other work.

Complex 3D geometry at any scale

Organic brand logos, oversized product replicas with internal detail, character sculptures, and architectural features — additive manufacturing handles geometry that would be prohibitively expensive or impossible to CNC mill, cast, or fabricate. If your creative team can model it in 3D, we can print it at scale and finish it to your exact specifications.

Materials

Materials for marketing & entertainment

For oversized display pieces requiring presentation-quality surfaces, Industrial SLA in Tough Epoxy delivers structural rigidity and smooth finish (5 Ra μm) at build volumes up to ~1000mm. For pieces exceeding 1 meter, FGF in ABS produces structurally sound models at up to 1200mm per axis that can be finished, painted, and displayed. For smaller, high-detail props and trophies, SLA Standard Resin delivers the smoothest surface in our catalog (2 Ra μm). MJF Nylon PA12 is ideal for durable, production-grade components that need to survive transport, setup, and multi-day events without damage.

Oversized Trade Show Model — 3D printed project by MakelabOversized Trade Show Model — 3D printed project by Makelab
Industrial SLATough Epoxy

Oversized Trade Show Model

This oversized display model was produced for a major trade show, requiring a commanding physical presence on the exhibition floor. Printed on our Industrial SLA platform in Tough Epoxy resin, the model was built in sections and assembled to achieve a seamless finish at scale. Post-processing included sanding, priming, and painting to achieve a show-ready surface that could withstand the rigors of transport and multi-day display.

Camera-Ready Giant Keyboard for Commercial — 3D printed project by MakelabCamera-Ready Giant Keyboard for Commercial — 3D printed project by Makelab
Industrial FGFABS (FGF)

Camera-Ready Giant Keyboard for Commercial

For a commercial shoot, we produced a giant functional keyboard prop using Fused Granulate Fabrication (FGF). The keyboard needed to be camera-ready with controlled surface finish and precise dimensional consistency at oversized scale. Each key was printed with clean geometry that held up under studio lighting. The ABS material provided the structural rigidity needed for handling on set while keeping weight manageable for the production crew.

MJFNylon PA12

Nespresso Bees Installation

Nespresso commissioned a large-scale brand installation featuring over 100 individually 3D printed bees, each requiring fine geometric detail and consistent quality. We produced the full run using HP Multi Jet Fusion in Nylon PA12, which delivered the surface resolution needed for the intricate wing and body geometry while maintaining structural integrity. Every part was inspected for consistency before delivery to the installation team.

SLAFlexible

Labubu Mask for BLACKPINK’s Lisa

For BLACKPINK Lisa’s Deadline Tour in London, we produced a custom Labubu character mask using SLA printing in Flexible resin. The mask needed to be lightweight enough for extended stage wear, flexible enough to conform comfortably, and durable enough to survive the rigors of a live performance. The smooth surface finish from SLA allowed for clean paint application, and the part was delivered on an accelerated timeline to meet the tour schedule.

How it works

From file to finished part

01

Brief & quote

Share your concept — CAD files, reference images, or even a sketch. We will advise on scale, technology, material, and finishing approach. For event-driven projects, provide your deadline upfront so we can confirm feasibility immediately.

02

Build planning

We plan build orientation for optimal surface quality, engineer multi-part assembly for oversized pieces, and define the finishing workflow — sanding grades, primer coats, paint system, and final clear coat.

03

Production

Pieces are produced on Industrial SLA, FGF, SLA, or MJF depending on scale and surface requirements. Multi-part models are assembled with seamless joints and invisible seam lines.

04

Finishing

Full post-processing: progressive sanding, priming, multi-coat painting, color matching, and clear coat. Delivered camera-ready and event-ready.

05

Delivery

Custom packaging for fragile and oversized display pieces. NYC events: same-day delivery. National: tracked freight with delivery confirmation. We coordinate with your venue or production team on timing.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How large can you print for trade shows and events?

Up to ~1000mm single piece on Industrial SLA and ~1200mm on FGF. For larger pieces, we use multi-part assembly with seamless joints and deliver as a single finished unit. We have produced display pieces exceeding 2 meters using assembled sections.

Can you finish parts to be camera-ready for commercial shoots?

Yes. We provide full post-processing including sanding, priming, and multi-coat painting with color matching to your specifications (Pantone, RAL, or physical sample). Our giant keyboard commercial prop and Nespresso bee installation were both delivered camera-ready.

Can you handle rush timelines for events with fixed dates?

Yes. Event and production timelines are a core part of our business. Contact our team with your deadline and part requirements — we will confirm feasibility and provide a production schedule. For NYC-based events, we offer same-day local pickup and next-day courier delivery.

Do you ship finished display pieces nationwide?

Yes. NYC and NJ get next-day local delivery. National shipments go via tracked courier with standard, expedited, and overnight options. For fragile or oversized display pieces, we use custom packaging and can coordinate with your freight carrier.

What is the typical timeline for a trade show display project?

Standard timeline is 5–10 business days depending on size, complexity, and post-processing requirements. Rush projects can be completed in as few as 3 business days for smaller pieces. Contact us at least 2 weeks before your event date for large or complex projects.
