Large-Format Stereolithography

Industrial SLA

Same resin chemistry and surface quality as desktop SLA — at build volumes up to 1000 x 1000 x 600mm. For large parts that need precision and finish, not just size.

Industrial SLA cures resin from the top — a UV laser traces each layer on the surface of the resin tank, and the build platform lowers incrementally as the part sinks underneath. This top-down approach reduces support requirements compared to desktop SLA and enables single pieces up to 1000 x 1000 x 600mm with presentation-quality surface finish.

Post-processing

Standard finishing included with every Industrial SLA order. Optional services available on request.

Included (standard)

Support removal— Heavier supports cut with flush cutters and contact surfaces sanded smooth.
IPA washing— Solvent baths to remove uncured resin. Extended wash times for large parts.
UV post-curing— Large-format UV curing chamber. Longer cycles for thick-walled parts.
Sanding— Support marks sanded flush. Presentation models get full surface sanding.

Optional (quoted separately)

+
Wet sanding— Progressive wet sanding up to 2000 grit for near-polished surfaces.
+
Polishing— Multi-stage polishing for optical clarity on Optical Clear parts.
+
Painting / priming— Filler primer and paint for architectural models and display pieces.
+
Clear coating— UV-resistant clear coat for Optical Clear parts or painted surfaces.
+
Assembly— Multi-piece builds bonded with structural adhesive. Seams filled and sanded.
