Support removal, washing, curing, sanding, and inspection are built into every order. Optional finishing — painting, polishing, vapor smoothing — is available on request.

Included (standard)
Support removal
Breakaway supports manually snapped off and contact points cleaned. Dissolvable supports (PVA, HIPS) soaked in heated chemical bath until fully dissolved.
Washing
Parts washed to remove residue, dust, or loose filament strands. Ensures clean surface for downstream finishing.
Surface cleanup
Support witness marks trimmed and sanded flush. Sharp edges from layer transitions deburred.
Support removal, washing, and basic surface cleanup are included with every FDM order at no additional cost.
Standard post-processing adds no time to FDM lead times.
Optional (quoted separately)
Painting / priming
Filler primer, spot putty, and paint. Custom colors matched to Pantone or RAL.
Threaded inserts
Heat-set brass inserts for durable, repeatable threaded connections.
Assembly
Multi-piece builds bonded with structural adhesive. Seams filled and sanded for seamless appearance.
