Post-processing

Standard finishing included with every Optical Clear PMMA order on Industrial SLA.

Included (standard)

Support removal— Heavier supports cut with flush cutters and contact surfaces sanded smooth.
IPA washing— Solvent baths to remove uncured resin. Extended wash times for large parts.
UV post-curing— Large-format UV curing chamber. Longer cycles for thick-walled parts.
Sanding— Support marks sanded flush. Presentation models get full surface sanding.

Wet sanding— Progressive wet sanding up to 2000 grit for near-polished surfaces.

Polishing— Multi-stage polishing for optical clarity on Optical Clear parts.

Painting / priming— Filler primer and paint for architectural models and display pieces.

Assembly— Multi-piece builds bonded with structural adhesive. Seams filled and sanded.
