3D printing service for presentation models, trade show props, and display pieces.
Presentation models and props need to look flawless from every angle. Our 3D printing service produces client presentation models, trade show displays, film and TV props, brand installations, and custom awards — from desktop scale to nearly two meters — with surfaces finished for camera and close-up inspection.
Challenges we solve
What presentation models & props teams need from a 3D printing service
Achieving flawless surfaces under close inspection
Presentation models are viewed at arm's length under direct lighting. Every surface imperfection is visible. SLA delivers 2 Ra μm finish straight off the printer. Our post-processing team handles progressive sanding (220 → 400 → 800 grit), priming, and multi-coat painting to achieve surfaces indistinguishable from factory-finished objects.
Producing oversized pieces that look like single objects
Models exceeding single-build volume need multi-part assembly. We engineer registration features, bond sections with structural adhesive, and fill and sand seam lines until they are invisible. The Zaha Hadid 943mm site model was a multi-section assembly delivered as a seamless single piece.
Meeting immovable deadlines
Trade show dates, film shoot schedules, and client presentations do not move. We have delivered presentation pieces on 48-hour turnarounds for NYC architecture firms, and complex finished models in 5–10 business days for national events. Talk to our team with your deadline and we confirm feasibility immediately.
Color matching to brand specifications
Brand installations and corporate presentations require exact color matching — Pantone, RAL, or physical sample. Our finishing team matches colors precisely and applies consistent finish (matte, satin, or gloss) across all surfaces and assembled sections.

Materials
Materials for presentation models & props
Standard Resin on SLA delivers the smoothest surface in our catalog (2 Ra μm) for high-detail models up to ~300mm. Industrial SLA in Tough Epoxy handles models up to ~1000mm with paintable surfaces and structural rigidity. FGF in ABS produces oversized pieces up to 1200mm that can be finished, painted, and displayed. Optical Clear PMMA provides 90% light transmission for transparent elements.
Standard Resin
SLA · Shore D 78
Smooth surface, fine detail. Good for visual prototypes and concept models.
ABS
FGF · Rockwell R 110
Impact resistant, heat tolerant. The standard for extra-large format builds.
ABS-Like Resin
Industrial SLA · Shore D 79
Tough, impact resistant. Good for large functional parts, enclosures, and assemblies.

How it works
Your project, step by step
Brief
Share your CAD file with dimensions, color spec, and deadline. We recommend technology, material, and finishing approach.
Build plan
We plan seam placement for multi-part assemblies, build orientation for surface quality, and the finishing workflow — sanding grades, primer system, paint coats.
Model produced on SLA, Industrial SLA, or FGF. Multi-section builds are printed in parallel to minimize lead time.
Finish
Assembly, sanding, priming, painting, color matching, and clear coat. Delivered as a single finished piece.
Deliver
Custom packaging for fragile pieces. NYC: same-day delivery. National: tracked freight with delivery coordination to your venue or office.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How large can a presentation model be?
Up to ~1000mm single piece on Industrial SLA, ~1200mm on FGF. Multi-part assemblies with seamless joints handle any size beyond that.
Do you handle painting and finishing?
Yes — in-house. Sanding, priming, multi-coat painting, color matching (Pantone/RAL), and clear coat. Matte, satin, or gloss finish. Delivered presentation-ready.
What is the turnaround for a presentation model with finishing?
Simple models (under 300mm, single color): 3–5 business days. Complex models (multi-part, custom paint): 7–10 business days. Rush options available — contact us with your deadline.
Can you produce transparent presentation models?
Yes. Optical Clear PMMA on Industrial SLA delivers 90% light transmission. Frosted PMMA provides 60% for diffused translucency.
