The role
This is not a passive internship. You will be on the floor, hands in parts, from day one.
You will leave knowing how a real production operation runs — scheduling, QA, machine management, order fulfillment. Mentorship from experienced technicians. Real parts, real clients, real stakes.

What you'll do
01Remove supports and finish FDM and SLA prints to cosmetic standard
02Assist with QA checks — learning what passes and what does not pass
03Learn to prep and operate printers for production runs
04Assist with light machine maintenance: clogs, nozzle changes, bed cleaning
05Help prioritize workloads across multiple orders and deadlines
06Shadow experienced technicians to diagnose and document machine issues

What you bring
01Pursuing a degree in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, industrial design, or related field
02Strong attention to detail — you notice things others miss
03Can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
04Communicates clearly and asks good questions
05Prior experience with prototyping or fabrication tools is a plus
