The role

We run 5,000+ parts a week on a large and growing fleet, and no two weeks look the same: cornice pieces for an architecture firm, housings for a medical device, a few hundred promo pieces for a restaurant brand, a full-size engineering model. Every one of them comes off a machine you keep running.

This is a fast-paced, high-performance shop. Deadlines are real, the schedule moves every day, and we hold each other to a high bar. You'll work on the floor with the production team and join our daily huddle. When the fleet is healthy, you're a production technician alongside everyone else, and every finished part shows you something about the machine that made it. That's how you'll learn our process from file to finished part. The role grows as the shop does: over time you'd decide how the shop looks after its machines, from the maintenance routines and parts system to the call on what to repair and what to replace.

What you'll do

01Keep the Prusas (MK4S, Core One and XL) running: find what's wrong, repair it, replace worn parts and keep up with scheduled maintenance
02Plan maintenance with production, so machines come offline when it costs the least and booked jobs still ship on time
03Join the daily huddle, and work as a production technician when the fleet is healthy: running jobs, removing supports, cleaning up parts
04Keep every printer on current firmware, and know what an update changes before you roll it out
05Run the spare parts inventory: know what we have, what's running low and what to order before a printer needs it
06Set up new machines. We just ordered more printers and upgrades, so your first weeks include getting them built and running
07Turn what you see into fixes. When the same failure keeps coming back, find out why, and when you see a better way to run our machines, bring the idea and help the team build it
03

What you bring

01Hands-on Prusa experience. You've run, repaired or rebuilt them, and you're comfortable with their firmware
02You've worked on a team and you know what that takes. You pitch in when the floor is busy, share what you learn, and check in with people instead of disappearing into a repair
03Very organized, with good time management. You can balance repairs, maintenance, production work and a parts order, and you know which comes first
04You speak up. If something is set up wrong, you tell us why without waiting to be asked, and you're respectful about it
05You do your best work in a fast-paced, high-output shop, and your standards hold when the schedule gets tight
06Careful. A printer you rebuild runs better than it did before
07You've built your own PC or taken something apart to see how it works
08On your feet most of the day, and able to lift about 40 lb, like a boxed printer or a case of filament
09Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, on site in Brooklyn
