TECHNOLOGIES FOR LARGE-SCALE

Scaling up with large-scale 3D printing

FDM - 9.84" max dimension

Known for its affordability, ease of use, and versatility. Preferred choice for presentation models that will be heavily coated and require splitting into over multiple parts.

PREFERRED MATERIALS

FDM is recommended for proof of concept & models that require heavy coatings/finishes.
SLA is recommended for assembly & further finishing- the best for hiding seams & further finishing processes. Great for appearance & display models for presentation purposes

KEEP IN MIND

Additional fees apply for split-and-assemble services
Requires a minimum wall thickness of 6mm at the seams, to qualify for assembly.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is there a size limit for printing oversized?

The largest we can print in a single print is 500mm. BUT we do offer split-and-assemble services. Without painting & fitting, split lines will be visible. However, if we are painting and finishing, split lines can be hidden seamlessly.

What materials can you print in for oversized 3D printing?

While we can print oversized parts in FDM materials, we suggest using SLA resins instead. They provide a much smoother surface finish, are more workable with finishing and painting, and are much more professional.

Can you paint and finish these parts?

Yes we can! We offer a variety of finishing services.

What is your turnaround time for oversized printing?

This highly depends on the size and requirements of your project. This can take anywhere from weeks to months.
