Frequently Asked Questions

What types of 3D CAD files do you accept?

We accept a wide range of 3D CAD file types.

3dm, 3dxml, 3mf, arc, asm, catpart, catproduct, catshape, cgr, dlv, exp, iam, iges, igs, ipt, jt, mf1, model, neu, obj, par, pkg, ply, prt, psm, pwd, sab, sat, session, sldprt, step, stl, stp, stpz, u3d, unv, vda, vrml, wrl, wrz, x_b, x_t, xas, xmt, xmt_txt, xpr

Can you 3D print my 3D CAD files in a specific orientation?

Yes we can. If you have specific mechanical properties or want to preserve details or surfaces, please send us drawings or specifications.

What are the differences between quality levels?

Quality levels affect the visibility of layer lines in FDM and SLA printing processes. The higher the quality level, the less visibile the layer lines will be.

Why does my 3D CAD file need support structures?

Support structures are required when a feature is 3D printed with an overhang beyond 50 degrees. They are easily removed during post-processing steps.

Can I come in-person to place an order?

At this time, we do not accept walk-ins, but are able to schedule an appointment with you. Talk to us to get started.
